Are you passionate about teaching and helping students excel? We are seeking dedicated, friendly, and enthusiastic AP Psychology tutors to join our team! As an AP Psychology tutor, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on students' academic journeys, providing them with personalized instruction that supports their learning and prepares them for success on the AP exam.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to high school students preparing for the AP Psychology exam, both in-person and online.
Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style, goals, and strengths.
Help students improve their understanding of AP Psychology topics and foster a love of learning.
Manage tutoring sessions efficiently, ensuring all content is covered within the agreed timeframe.
Offer guidance and support to students, helping them build confidence and skills that will last beyond the exam.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of prior teaching or tutoring experience.
Strong knowledge of the AP Psychology exam and the curriculum.
Proven experience creating lesson plans and managing tutoring schedules.
A Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized university.
Access to reliable transportation and the ability to travel to students' homes (for in-person sessions).
A friendly, positive personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to a minimum of one year working with our students.
Locations: We are currently seeking tutors who are available to serve students in the following areas:

Westside: Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, West LA, Beverly Hills, Bel Air
SF Valley: Sherman Oaks
Remote: Virtual tutoring via Zoom

Compensation:

Pay rate ranges from $50 to $60 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and performance.
Higher rates are available for tutors with teaching credentials, advanced degrees, or significant teaching experience.
