FSTONE Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an The Accounts Payable Clerk. The Accounts Payable Clerk role is a full-time, hybrid position at Atlas Clinical Research reporting to the Sr. Director of Financial Accounting. As Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for managing and processing all incoming invoices and outgoing payments in a timely manner. This role involves verifying financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with Company policies and relevant regulations. Only candidates from the US and Canada may apply for this remote role.

Key Responsibillities:

• Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.

• Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.

• Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.

• Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.

• Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash.

• Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices.

• Other related duties as assigned.

• Collaborate with Finance/Accounting team members to improve processes, procedures, and overall efficiency of the Finance/Accounting function.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2 + years of related experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge with MS Office products required.
• Experience with Sage and other ERPs.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Prior experience working in a start-up organization preferred.
• Prior clinical accounting experience preferred.
• Impeccable attention to detail with superb organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to handle changes in tasks and processes in a rapidly growing organization.
