Accounting and Administrative Assistant (Temporary position) Location Fremont, CA (Parkmont area) :

Position: Accounting & administrative assistant (Temporary position) Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Pay: $25-$30/hourly, depending on experience.

Summary:

Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN) is a nonprofit organization. FCSN's mission is to help individuals with special needs and their families find love, hope, respect, and support through integrated community involvement. The finance & administration department is seeking a full time accountant/bookkeeper.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Input and maintain all AP/AR data in Quickbooks
• Process invoices and check request, ensuring approval with support documentation
• Record, balance and deposit all receipts
• Update and maintain registration, volunteer and membership systems
• Order office supplies
• Provide support to the finance & administration team
• Complete special projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• A.A. or B.A. in accounting preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• A self-starter with the proven ability to initiate and follow through on projects.
• Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task.
