Description:
Our client is currently seeking an Accountant to join their team. This is a full-time, temp-perm position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Record transactions in journals and subsidiary ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Set up worksheets and assist in auditing tax documents.
• Collect and process payments for taxes, bills, rents, and other miscellaneous receipts.
• Oversee the receipt and processing of accounts payable entries.
• Compile financial data and contribute to the preparation of budgets and other fiscal reports.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or a related field is required.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and maintain general journals and ledgers with accuracy.
• Experience in preparing special periodic financial reports is required.
• Proficiency in personal computers and office software.
